To support integrated resource planning and management to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals to sustain socioeconomic development requires managing various main elements in life while reducing adverse effects on natural resources, society, and the environment. The following are the main components and principles:

  1. Government and policy: underscoring its value in steering well-aligned policy decisions for sustainable growth.
  2. Energy future: comparisons, challenges and barriers, sustainability indicators, and the contribution to sustainable development goals
  3. Environmental management education: uncovered new social and economic dimensions: social harmony and equality; sustainable consumption and socioeconomic behaviors; sustainable production, industry, and infrastructure; and acute poverty reduction.

Research results produced by universities should be published and read by many audiences. This conference is expected to be a bridge to promote the work of higher education and increase the number of universities committed to SDGs. In addition, universities are expected to lead the process of transforming activities to reduce negative impacts on the environment and ensure the adoption of a sustainable development model.
